Odor removal and deodorization deals with the smell left behind after a trauma incident, decomposition, or biohazard event – an issue that doesn't go away with air fresheners or standard cleaning because it's coming from material that's absorbed the odor at a deep level, not just sitting on the surface.
We handle this for Lamy, NM property owners after unattended deaths, trauma incidents, or any situation where strong odor has set into flooring, walls, or furnishings. Sometimes it's a standalone call after another company handled the physical cleanup but the smell remained, and sometimes it's part of a full trauma cleanup job from the start.
Odor from decomposition or biological contamination gets into porous material – subflooring, drywall, insulation in a way that surface cleaning can't reach. We start by identifying everything that's absorbed odor and needs to be removed versus what can be treated in place. For material we can save, we use ozone treatment or hydroxyl generators to break down odor molecules at the source, along with enzymatic cleaners that neutralize rather than mask the smell. Air scrubbing runs throughout the space to clear lingering particulates from the air itself.
Cost depends on how deeply the odor has set in and how large an area is affected – a single room is a different job than odor that's spread through an entire home's ventilation system.
If odor is lingering in your Lamy, NM property after an incident, call (833) 326-1718 and we'll get it resolved at the source.
